[Infographic]: Number of newly-established enterprises reaches new record high in Jan-July

VGP – In the first seven months of 2019, about 79,300 enterprises were founded with an average register capital of VND 12.6 billion each. These figures were the highest ones over the few years, the General Statistics Office (GSO) reported.

In July only, 12,352 enterprises were established with a total register capital of VND 139 trillion, down 4.7% in number and 26.9% in value. Average capital registration of a single enterprise was VND 11.3 billion. 

The newly-founded enterprises generated 94,900 jobs, down 15.1%. 

In the seventh month, 2,690 enterprises resumed operation, representing a year-on-year growth of 25.9%. About 2,501 others suspended operation, up 6.4%. Around 2,400 enterprises were dissolved, down 15.7%. 

In the first seven months, 79,300 enterprises were established with a total register capital of VND 999.4 trillion, up 4.6% in number and 29.6% in value. 

In the reviewed period, the economy absorbed VND 2.476 trillion of capital. 

About 24,300 enterprises resumed operation, up 29.9% against the same period last year, bringing the total number of newly-established and resumed enterprises to 103.600. These enterprises recruited 743,900 employees, representing a year-on-year growth of 19.3%./.
