Interest rate of export credit loans in VND to be lowered
VNGOP – According to Finance Ministry ‘s Decision 75/2007/QĐ-BTC dated August 30, 2007 the interest rate of export credit loans in VND will be reduced from 9% to 8.7% per year.

Under this decision the interest rate of State investment credits in VND is 9% and the annual interest rates of the State credits for investment and for exports in the freely-convertible foreign currencies are 7.5% and 6.9% respectively.
For the investment projects on socio-economic infrastructure; on agricultural and rural development; and for projects in the disadvantageous localities, the annual interest rate of State investment credit loans in VND is at 8.4%, while the loans in the freely-convertible foreign currencies at 6.9%.
The interest rate difference in the post-investment of 3.9% will be covered and applicable to the supporting contracts signed with the Việt Nam Development Bank since January 16, 2007.
