Int’l pharmed exhibition opens in HCM City
VGP - The 4th international health exhibition named “Pharmed & Healthcare Vietnam 2009” kicked off on Wednesday in Hồ Chí Minh City with the participation of over 200 enterprises from 20 countries and territories.

Addressing the event, Deputy Minister of Health Cao Minh Quang stressed that “Pharmed & Healthcare Vietnam 2009” is an important activity of trade promotion and investment cooperation, helping develop pharmaceutical and medical sectors.
Now, 300 booths are showcasing such exhibits as new and traditional medicines, pharmaceutical materials and supplies, pharmaceutical production equipment and technology, pharmaceutical packing equipment, medical equipment and technology, laboratory equipment, diagnostics, rehabilitation equipment, ophthalmic and dental instrument, medical furniture, healthcare services and publications..
The event features symposiums, consultations and tours to some hospitals and medical factories. It also has special section for raising public awareness on diseases, including dengue fever, foot-and-mouth disease, and swine flu.
