The US $3.6-million project, whose investor is the Hà Nội Transport Department, aims at helping minimize traffic congestions in the city, and increase the number of people using public transport services, especially bus ones.
The project, to be implemented till 2014, will also help raise public awareness about public transport, help reduce numbers of personal vehicles.
The JICA fund will be used to provide experts and equipment, and hold training courses in Japan and a third country, seminars and talks.
