State President Sang highly valued the close economic relations between the Kansai region and Vietnamese ministries, sectors and localities.
He hopes that the Federation will propose new fields for bilateral cooperation on the basis of the traditional mutual trust and advantages, including a direct air route between the Southeast Asian country and Kansai region.
Chairman Shosuke Mori said investment from Kansai businesses now accounts for 20% of Japan’s total investment in Viet Nam.
Shosuke Mori suggested the two sides step up cooperation in human resources training and environmental protection.
The federation will work closely with Viet Nam’s Ministry of Planning and Investment and Ministry of Industry and Trade to provide necessary information for the two countries’ businesses, he said./.
