August 18, 2013 7:47 PM GMT+7

Participants exchanged with young Japanese calligrapher Takeda Souun, who was appointed “Japan Cultural Envoy 2013” by the Japanese Agency for Cultural Affairs, after enjoying his calligraphy performance and impressive presentation of Japanese calligraphy.

The event also included exchanges between visitors and the Viet Nam UNESCO Calligraphy Club.

It also aimed to mark the 40th anniversary of the establishment of Viet Nam–Japan diplomatic ties and enhance solidarity, friendship and cultural understanding between people of the two capital cities and the two countries.

Takeda Souun is a famous calligrapher in Japan and has many activities related to calligraphy worldwide.
