In the first nine months of 2013, the city granted investment certificates to five Japanese projects with total of capital of US$31.4 million.

Many Japanese investors like Foster, Mabuchi, Daiwa, Acecook, Sumitomo, Marubeni, Tokai, Sadavi do business well, significantly contributing to the city's annual average GDP at 11%.

Japan is being regarded as the pioneer in investing into some areas of production, especially those with high technology and more and more proves its status on the playground of foreign investors in Da Nang.

Not only seeking its own opportunities, Japanese enterprises have also introduced other enterprises to come to Da Nang for production investment, according to the city. In particular, after funding US$40 million into Da Nang Hi-tech Park, Tokyo Keiki Group recommended Niwachuzo Company (Japan) invest in the Park with an amount of US$ 22 million.

This is a good signal to start the Japanese investment "wave" flowing into the City Hi-tech Park. The brave investment of Japanese enterprises with their high efficiency in Da Nang partly attracts others to come to the city.
