PM Nguyen Tan Dung on September 25 in Ha Noi hosted a reception for Bolivia’s Vice President Alvaro Garcia Linera who is now on an official visit to Viet Nam.

PM Dung warmly welcomed the visit of Mr. Alvaro Garcia Linera, regarding this as a new milestone in the development of the bilateral ties.

He proposed the two sides strengthen reciprocal visits at high levels to reinforce mutual understanding and set up direct partnership especially in the areas of trade, industry, agriculture, production of consumption goods.

The Vietnamese Government chief also suggested the two sides negotiate and ink agreements on trade, economics, investment encouragement and protection and avoidance of double taxation.

The host leader also recommended the two sides enhance coordination and support each other at international forums. Boliva advocates ASEAN’s peaceful solutions to disputes on the East Sea on the basis of international law.
