Khánh Hòa to host culture-imbued Sea Festival 2009
VGP – The Sea Festival 2009, organized on June 6-12 in Nha Trang City of Khánh Hòa Province, will display many national and international cultural activities, including national records.

The event, under the theme “Nha Trang Rendezvous”, hosted by Khánh Hòa for the 4th time, consists of about 70 cultura, sports, economic and scientific activities.
Apart from traditional activities, such as fish-praying ritual, human chess, basket boat race, and calligraphic exhibition, there are new shows, including building sand statues, parachute water skiing, making sculptures from metal wastes.
Some national records will be introduced at the Festival, such as Việt Nam’s biggest noodle soup bowl, largest beach wifi cafe, largest national orchestra, and biggest embroidery picture.
Khánh Hòa also plans to organize some environmental activities on this occasion.
