Land lease regulations for foreign investors in HCMC
VGP – If foreign investors pay the total land rent for 50 years, they can hire land in Hồ Chí Minh City for the entire period of time since the authorities issue the land rent decision and hand over the land.

To pave the way for foreign players to do long-term business in the Southern city, PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng made a decision on the time of land rent applied for foreign investors, both individuals and organizations.
The authority of Hồ Chí Minh City will calculate the time for land lease in line with the Land Law of Việt Nam.
Regarding the projects which require large land areas, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment will work with the local authority to propose specific solutions.
