Leaders congratulate China’s National Day

VNGOP – On the 58th anniversary of the People’s Republic of China (October 01, 1949-October 01, 2007), General Secretary of the Communist Party of Việt Nam Central Committee Nông Đức Mạnh, State President Nguyễn Minh Triết, PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng, and National Assembly Chairman Nguyễn Phú Trọng separately conveyed their congratulations to General Secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, State President Hu Jintao, Premier Wen Jiabao, and Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress Wu Bangguo.

In their messages, the Vietnamese leaders highly valued great achievements gained by the Chinese people over the past 58 years and expressed their delight at the good development of the friendly neighborhood and comprehensive cooperation between the two parties and two countries. They confirmed that the Vietnamese Communist Party, State and people always attach importance to and promote the traditional friendship with China, for the development of each respective country as well as peace, stability and prosperity in the region and the world.

On the occasion, Deputy PM, Foreign Minister Phạm Gia Khiêm congratulated Chinese FM Yang Jiechi.
