Leaders congratulate China’s National Day
VGP – On the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the National Day of the People’s Republic of China (October 1, 1949), leaders of the Party, State, Government and National Assembly of Việt Nam jointly sent a message of greetings to leaders China.
In their message, Vietnamese leaders showed their admiration to achievements gained by China over the past six decades, especially for 30 years of renovation, which have transformed the country into one of the world’s leading powers.
They highly spoke of China’s great efforts, together with other countries, in mitigating negative impacts of the global financial crisis and resuming the world’s economic growth.
“We are pleased with the development and important results of the strategic partnership for comprehensive cooperation between the two Parties and states of Việt Nam and China,” the Vietnamese leaders stated.
They expressed their confidence that in the “Việt Nam-China Friendship Year 2010” when the two countries will celebrate their 60th anniversary of diplomatic establishment, the traditional friendship and mutual understanding between the two peoples will be promoted.
The leaders reiterated their resolve to bring depth and focus to the Việt Nam–China strategic partnership for prosperity in each country, in the interest of the two peoples, and for the sake of peace, stability, development and cooperation in the world.
