In the meetings between the leaders of Vietnamese Communist Party, State and National Assembly and Bulgarian PM Sergey Dmitrievich Stanishev, the two sides highly appreciated the two countries’ good traditional friendship. The Vietnamese leaders were convinced that the Bulgarian guest’s Vietnam visit would bring the bilateral relationship to a new height. They affirmed that Vietnam has persistently maintained a foreign policy of diversified and multilateral relations, thereby Vietnam wants to befriend all countries in the world, especially traditional friends like Bulgaria. They suggested that Vietnam and Bulgaria can cooperate in various fields including economy, trade, investment, culture, education and training. The two countries should regularly share experience, promote bilateral and multilateral cooperation on regional and international fora, for the two peoples’ interest as well as the world’s peace, stability and development, they said.
