Leaders pay tribute to President Ho Chi Minh, heroic martyrs

VGP – A delegation of the Party, State, and Viet Nam Fatherland Front (VFF) Central Committee on July 26 paid tribute at the Monument for Heroic Martyrs and laid wreath at President Ho Chi Minh mausoleum in Ha Noi on the occasion of the 72nd anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27).

The delegation included PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc, NA Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan, former Party General Secretary Nong Duc Manh, former State President Tran Duc Luong, former NA Chairman Nguyen Van An, and President of the VFF Central Committee Tran Thanh Man.

They commemorated heroic martyrs who bravely struggled and sacrificed their lives for the national liberation and reunification, the nation’s independence and freedom and people’s happiness.  

The delegation also paid tribute to late President Ho Chi Minh at his mausoleum.

The same day, delegations from the Ministries of National Defense and Public Security, the Government Office, the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, and Ha Noi city also laid wreaths in memory of martyrs and President Ho Chi Minh.
