Leaders pay tribute to President Ho Chi Minh

VGP - A delegation of the Party, State, National Assembly, Government and the Viet Nam Fatherland Front paid floral tribute to President Ho Chi Minh at his mausoleum in Ha Noi on January 27 on the occasion of the 84th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnamese Communist Party and the Lunar New Year.

The delegation included Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, State President Truong Tan Sang, PM Nguyen Tan Dung, National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung, and President of the Viet Nam Fatherland Front Central Committee Nguyen Thien Nhan, among others.

The Party and State leaders expressed their deep gratitude for the great services rendered by late President Ho Chi Minh in the national revolutionary cause.

Later, they laid a wreath at the monument to Vietnamese martyrs who laid down their lives for the independence and freedom of the nation.

Also in the morning, delegations from the Ministries of Defense, Public Security and mass organizations in the capital city also paid floral tribute to late President Ho Chi Minh.
