Leaders welcomes Cambodian King

VGP – State President Truong Tan Sang and National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung have just hosted separate meetings given to Cambodia’s King Norodom Sihamoni who is on a State-level visit to Viet Nam.

Both State President Truong Tan Sang and National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung highly spoke of the significance of the Cambodian King’s visit which is made on the occasion of the Viet Nam-Cambodia Friendship Year 2012 and the 45th anniversary of diplomatic establishment between the two countries.

The host leaders showed their strong confidence in the flourishing bilateral relationship and comprehensive cooperation which should be deepened for the sake of the two peoples, the region and the world.

They reaffirmed that the Vietnamese people will always join Cambodia in consolidating and promoting the traditional friendship and solidarity.

King Norodom Sihamoni took the occasion to express his gratitude to the Vietnamese state and people for their support and assistance to Cambodia in the past and at present.

He also firmly believed that the Viet Nam-Cambodia relationship will further develop in the future, for peace, cooperation and development not only in the two countries but also in the region and the world.
