MIC fosters cooperation with the UK
VGP - A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on Information and Communications cooperation was signed on October 14 by Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Đỗ Quý Doãn and UK Ambassador Mark Kent.
The signing is a concrete step to
put into reality the Việt Nam-UK Strategic Partnership Declaration established in
September.
The Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on Information and Communications

The MOU represents both sides’ wish
to strengthen their bilateral cooperation in the area
of information and communications, especially exchanging information and
experience of drafting laws and policies in the area; and encouraging
cooperation among enterprises in upgrading infrastructure and providing
services.
The two countries will
also strengthen cooperation on human resources development and training programs;
encourage joint research and development of new services and technologies.
The MOU specifies
cooperation activities in the media sector.
