Accordingly, Microsoft will support Việt Nam to build up an intellectual economy through developing e-government infrastructure and training IT skills.

For three years (2008-2010), 200 civil servants from 22 ministerial agencies and 64 provinces will be trained in IT through Microsoft Certificate System Engineering (MCSE). Microsoft also pledged to grant scholarships to 300 students nationwide. At least 20 medium and small enterprises trading in software will be assisted through training programs, consultative services and financial aid from Microsoft.

Microsoft will help Việt Nam found the IT development fund in order to boost training, increase the capacity of software businesses, and develop e-government.
