A photo exhibition of traditional mid-autumn festival and folk games will last from September 10 to 14 at the ancient house in Mã Mây Street.

The Mid-Autumn Festival (15th day of the eight lunar month), normally called “Full-moon Admiring Festival,” is a children’s festival. On this occasion, children receive many gifts, especially toys (lanterns, masks), cakes and candy.

On the 15th day of the 8th lunar month, every family prepares a feast with traditional cakes and fruits to worship their ancestors and treat their children. When the moon goes high in the sky, children sing, dance and serve out food. In some places, people perform unicorn and lion dancing.
