Mid-term CG Meeting 2010 to be held in Kiên Giang
VGP – The PM has just agreed that the mid-term Consultative Group (CG) Meeting for Việt Nam 2010 will be organized in Phú Quốc Island of the southern province of Kiên Giang.
The
meeting is a forum for the Government of Việt Nam and international donors to
share opinions on socio-economic situations, review the realization of
commitments made at the previous meeting, and discuss ways to improve
efficiency of the aid.

The
preparatory work is undertaken by the Ministry of Planning and Investment (MPI),
in coordination with the World Bank and relevant agencies.
The
Government chief also asks the MPI to put into reality the commitments made at
the CG Meeting 2009 on December 2-4.
