Most of the complaints concentrated on provision of land to businesses, eviction compensation, and how far land-related accusations have been handled. In response, Minister Mai Ái Trực explained that many of the complaints related to this sensitive land issue are left behind unsolved from history that existed before the Land Law of 2003, which was written to address them and restore order in this sector.

The discussion posed an opportunity for the Ministry to present a clearer picture of the law as well as listen to different opinions from the local level regarding its enforcement for timely solution of problems.

The Minister said his ministry is re-checking all policies and legislation in the fields under its management for troubles that it will sort out or suggest the superior to do so for the sake of better management of natural resources and environment and more favorable climate for the public and business. He stressed that what is solvable will be immediately dealt with by the ministry, otherwise, it will take time to get them done.
