Mobile phone industry eyes US$12 bln in revenue in 2012
VGP – Việt Nam expects to pocket US$12 billion in revenue by exporting mobile phones and components in 2012, according to the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MoIT).

The MoIT proposed Vietnamese exporters attach importance to ensuring the quality of their products, to protect brand names and secure sales and expand trading to new markets.
By the end of January this year, Việt Nam’s mobile and components export revenue reached US$850 million, posting month-on-month increase of 0.8% and year-on-year increase of 113.9%./.
