More science and technology fields announced for private organizations

Under Decision 97/2009/QĐ-TTg, the PM issued a list of seven fields in which individuals are allowed to establish their own science and technology organizations, namely natural science, social science, humanity, technique and technology, medicine and health, agricultural science, and science and technology service.
The Government’s promulgation of fields of operations for private science and technology organizations (Decree 97/2009/ NĐ-CP) is an important move to complete the system of legal documents guiding operations of science and technology organizations in all economic sectors as well as adjust management in this field.
The Ministry of Science and Technology is assigned to periodically research and propose necessary revisions and supplementation for the list.
