More than 1,900 Vietnamese nationals repatriated over last week
VGP - A total number of 1,930 Vietnamese citizens were brought home from Singapore, Japan, Myanmar, Australia, Russia and Norway from October 12-18, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Precautious measures were taken during these flights to prevent transmission of COVID-19.
Right after landing at local airports, all the passengers received check-ups and were sent to concentrated quarantine sites in line with current regulations on COVID-19 responses.
So far, Viet Nam has organized 162 rescue flights to repatriate 46,422 citizens stranded abroad due to COVID-19.
More flights are set to be arranged in the time ahead to repatriate Vietnamese citizens with disadvantaged circumstances, depending on their need and domestic quarantine capacity./.
