More than 760 people tested negative for Covid-19 in Da Nang
VGP – As of early July 27, 761 people in Da Nang City tested negative for Covid-19, according to the Da Nang Online Newspaper.
Those people had been in close contact with recently confirmed Covid-19 patients in the central city, especially patient 416.
At present, about 285 people are being isolated at places of residence while 276 others are kept at centralized quarantine camps or hospitals.
The city's health sector will continue with epidemiological investigation and collection of samples of those who have been in close contacts with the Covid-19 patients.
Over the past weekend, five new Covid-19 cases were confirmed in Viet Nam, raising the patient tally to 420.
The latest cases include patients 416, 418, 420 in Da Nang City and patient 419 in Quang Ngai Province, who are linked to three hospitals in the central city.
Regarding patient 416 and patient 419, the Ministry of Health has issued an urgent notice calling on people to contact nearest health facilities for help if they had visited the Da Nang Hospital C from July 20-22, the Da Nang General Hospital’s Internal Medicine Department from July 16-18 and the Intensive Care Department on July 23, and the Da Nang Orthopaedic and Rehabilitation Hospital’s canteen, drug store, Room 401 and the B zone between July 14-16 and July 20-21./.
