NA Chairman meets with German Chancellor

VGP – The Vietnamese National Assembly (NA) always gives support for better ties with Germany, NA Chairman Nguyễn Sinh Hùng said at his meeting with visiting German Chancellor Angela Merkel.

NA Chairman Nguyễn Sinh Hùng affirmed that the Vietnamese NA would spare no effort to enhance the strategic partnership that was freshly established for the sake of each country, and for peace and stability in the world.

Mr. Hùng also expressed his hopes to foster linkages with Germany and facilitate the cooperative ties between the two Governments.

German Chancellor Angela Merkel said that the German Government is extremely interested in expanding cooperative programs in Việt Nam in all fields.

The German Chancellor said she believed that the establishment of the Việt Nam-German strategic partnership would create favorable conditions for better cooperative ties between the two sides./.
