NASC convenes 22nd meeting
VGP - The National Assembly Standing Committee on Thursday convened 22nd meeting to review preparations for the 6th plenary session of the 13th Legislature.
The meeting started with one minute in silence to honor legendary general Vo Nguyen Giap's great contributions to the nation.
During the meeting, the NASC will discuss the Government's reports on the implementation of the 2013 socio-economic development plan, the socio-economic development plan for the 2011-2015 period, and the 2014 socio-economic development plan.
The committee will comment on the draft amendments to the Law on Bidding, Law on People's Public Security Forces, Law on Viet Nam People's Army Officers, as well as the Government's proposals on Viet Nam's participation in the Cape Town Convention and Aircraft Protocol and the signing of the UN Convention against Torture.
Particularly, it will also continue to comment on the draft amendments to the 1992 Constitution./.
