NASC opens 35th session

VGP – The National Assembly Standing Committee (NASC) convened the 35th session under the chair of National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan on July 15.

Addressing the opening ceremony, Chairwoman Ngan said that the NASC would review and give comments on four draft laws on militia and self-defense forces (revised), immigration (revised), Governmental organization, organization of local administration, and cadres and civil servants.

The NASC reviewed the outcomes of the seventh session of the NA and prepares for the coming eighth one. 

NA Chairwoman Ngan suggested relevant agencies and organizations to uphold the active sense to prepare for upcoming session of the NASC. 

Chairman of the National Assembly Office Nguyen Hanh Phuc announced that NASC members used electronic database via their mobile phones.  

Right after the opening ceremony, the NASC listened to and gave comments on the revised draft law on militia and self-defense forces.

The session will last until July 17./.
