NA’s hearing session to take place next week

VGP – PM Nguyen Tan Dung and four Ministers will answer questions lodged by deputies during their ongoing eighth session, scheduled on November 17-19, said Chairman of the NA Office Nguyen Hanh Phuc.

The four Minister to join the Question-Answer session include the Minister of Industry and Trade, the Minister of Home Affairs, the Minister of Transport, and the Minister of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs.

Minister of Industry and Trade Vu Huy Hoang is expected to be questioned about the development of the support industry, development of domestic manufacturing industry, market management measures, effective prevention of counterfeit products and illegal trafficking, the participation of Viet Nam in the domestic retail distribution system.

Minister of Home Affairs Nguyen Thai Binh will be asked about topics relating to administrative reform, public servant personnel cut, and measures to raise productivity and salary reform.

Minister of Transport Dinh La Thang will answer questions on transport infrastructure, solutions to transport infrastructure, the building of 1A National Road; traffic accident reduction and ministerial and local responsibilities for transport safety. Other topics will include transport business services and control of transport loading capacity.  

A string of topics on legitimate rights and benefits of laborers, management of foreign workers in Viet Nam, the unemployment situation especially among university graduates and solutions to job generation and overseas guest worker quality, and social welfare will be tabled for Minister of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs Nguyen Thi Hai Chuyen.

Right after the hearing session of the four ministers, the PM will give further explanations on issues of the NA’s concern./.
