National Tourism Year announced at 999th birthday of Hà Nội
VGP – By hosting the National Tourism Year 2010, of which the central event is the millennium of Hà Nội, the capital city of Việt Nam will be able to make full use of its potentials and speed up its socio-economic development.

The 999th birthday
of Hà Nội was solemnly organized on Saturday evening and the National Tourism
Year 2010 was announced on the occasion.
The celebration included
many interesting art performances which depict the cultural space of the imperial
city of

Sinh Hùng presented the National Tourism Year Flag to leaders of the government
of Hà Nội.
Speaking at the ceremony, Hà
Nội’s Mayor Nguyễn Thế Thảo stated that, during the Tourism Year 2010 of which the central event is its millennium,
Hà Nội will present itself as a capital city of thousand-year
civilization, peace, picturesque landscapes, dynamic development, and elegant
residents.
By
hosting the National Tourism Year 2010, Hà Nội will be able to make full use of
its potentials and speed up its socio-economic development.
