National committee for int’l economic cooperation perfected

VNGOP - PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng just signed a decision to perfect the structure of the National Committee for International Economic Cooperation. The 14-member committee will be chaired by a Deputy PM.

The Committee is an interdisciplinary organization established by the PM to function as his assistant in directing and regulating activities of ministries, sectors and local authorities to set up plans on international economic and trade negotiations within the World Trade Organization (WTO), Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), ASEAN and dialogue partners, Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM), Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC), other multilateral economic organizations, bilateral free trade agreements and other international agreements relating to Việt Nam’s opened market.
