Nearly 300 citizens return home from Thailand

VGP – Nearly 300 Vietnamese citizens who were stranded in Thailand returned home on Monday, according to the Vietnamese Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

They included seniors, tourists, and students whose dormitories have been shut down due to COVID-19, the ministry said.

Upon their arrival, all of them were medically checked and sent to centralized quarantine facilities as currently regulated.

Vietnamese authorities, representative agencies abroad and domestic airlines are working together to continue repatriating citizens struck overseas in accordance with the Government’s directions./.
