New IPs and university founded

VGP – The PM just agreed to include three industrial parks, located in the northern province of Hưng Yên and invested by the Việt Nam Infrastructure Development and Finance Investment Joint Stock Company (VIDIFI), in the list of industrial parks to be established from now to 2015.

Tân Dân Industrial Park in Hưng Yên Province

The three new IPs are Tân Dân, Lý Thường Kiệt and Thổ Hoàng.

Tân Dân IP is located in a 200-ha land plot in the districts of Khoái Châu and Yên Mỹ. Its total investment capital is US $65 million.

Lý Thường Kiệt IP, situated in Yên Mỹ, Khoái Châu and Ân Thi Districts, covers 250 ha (stage 2008-2010) and will be doubled to 500 ha during the period of 2011-2020. Its infrastructure construction requires US $160 million.

So far, Hưng Yên has six IPs, namely Như Quỳnh A and B, Phố Nối A and B, Minh Đức and Hưng Yên Town.

The PM also decided the establishment of the Hà Nội Science and Technology University. This is a public tertiary institute administered by the Ministry of Education and Training.
