Nine New COVID-19 Cases Confirmed, 55,000 People Vaccinated
VGP – Viet Nam confirmed nine new imported cases of COVID-19 on Thursday, raising the national caseload to 2,668.
The latest patients include two Indian nationals. One of them is being treated at the National Hospital for Tropical Diseases in Na Noi’s Dong Anh District while the other is being treated at the Cu Chi field hospital in Ho Chi Minh City.
The rest are Vietnamese nationals repatriated from Japan (four), Angola (one), and Ukraine (two).
Viet Nam has received 928,800 doses of AstraZeneca vaccine so far this year, including 811,200 delivered through the COVAX Facility last week.
The same day, the Ministry of Health reported more than 55,000 people have been vaccinated against COVID-19 since March 8.
