Nine new cases of Covid-19 bring patient tally to 1,465

All of them are Vietnamese repatriated from Japan, France, Canada, Mozambique, and the U.S.

Specifically, patient 1,457 is a 27-year-old man in Tu Son District, Bac Ninh Province.

He took flight VN311 from Japan to the Van Don airport in Quang Ninh Province on December 28 and was sent to a centralized quarantine camp in the nearby province of Hai Duong.

He is being treated at the Hai Duong Hospital for Tropical Diseases.

Patient 1,458 is a 27-year-old woman in  Hai Hau District, Nam Dinh Province.

Patient 1,459 is a 26-year-old woman in Ha Noi’s Bac Tu Liem District.

Patient 1,460 is a 37-year-old woman in Yen Mo District, Ninh Binh Province.

Patient 1,461 is a 31-year-old man in Le Thuy District, Quang Binh Province.

Patient 1,462 is a 40-year-old man in Long Xuyen city, An Giang Province.

They flew from France to Ho Chi Minh City on December 16 and were quarantined in Binh Duong Province.

The aforesaid patients are being treated at the Binh Duong General Hospital.

Patient 1,463 is a 43-year-old woman in Ngo Quyen District, Hai Phong City.

She flew from Canada to the Republic of Korea and then took flight VN405 to Ho Chi Minh City on December 29.

She is being treated in the city’s Cu Chi field hospital.

Patient 1,464 is a 38-year-old man in Vinh city, Nghe An Province.

He flew from Mozambique to Qatar and then took flight QR970 to Ho Chi Minh City.

The patient is being treated in the city’s Cu Chi field hospital.

Patient 1,465 is a 61-year-old woman in Vung Tau city, Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province.

She landed at the Noi Bai International Airport on December 21 on flight VN415 from the U.S.

The patient is being treated at the National Hospital for Tropical Diseases in Ha Noi’s Dong Anh District.

The same day, two more patients were declared free of Covid-19, raising the number of recoveries to 1,325.
