Ninety-four new COVID-19 cases added to national tally

VGP – The Ministry of Health confirmed 94 new COVID-19 cases in six cities and provinces on Wednesday morning, bringing the national patient tally to 16,507.

The number of daily new COVID-19 cases from June 10 to 6:00 am on June 30

The latest patients include a 55-year-old woman repatriated from Qatar on June 18.

All the others are residents in Ho Chi Minh City (62), Phu Yen (21), Nghe An (4), Bac Giang (3), and Binh Dinh (4). Of these 87 cases were recorded in quarantine camps or lockdown areas.

Among the national caseload, 13,147 are community infections documented in 50 cities and provinces since the fourth COVID-19 wave began on April 27.

Fourteen out of the above localities have gone 14 days without a single new cases, namely: Yen Bai, Quang Tri, Thua Thien-Hue, Tuyen Quang, Son La, Ninh Binh, Thanh Hoa, Thai Nguyen, Bac Lieu, Dien Bien, Vinh Phuc, Hai Duong, Phu Tho, and Ha Nam./.
