Number of newly-established, re-operated enterprises up 8.6%

VGP – The number of newly-established and re-operated enterprises over the recent 10 months of 2019 saw a year-on-year increase of 8.6%, reaching 149,000 ones, according to the General Statistics Office.

The number of newly-established and re-operated enterprises over the recent 10 months of 2019 sees a year-on-year increase of 8.6%, reaching 149,000 ones.

In October alone, as many as 12,182 new firms were set up, with the registered capital of VND143,600 billion, creating 94,700 jobs, up 3.4% and up 2.5% in terms of the number of enterprises and registered capital, respectively. 

The month witnessed an increase of 109.9% in the number of re-operated firms compared to the previous month, attaining 7,247 ones. 

In the January-October period, a total number of 114,400 newly-established enterprises, valued at VND1,400 trillion were announced, up 4.4% and 28.5% in fields of enterprises and registered capital, respectively. 

The average capital registered for each enterprise obtained VND12.5 billion, up 23.1%.  

In the reviewed period, more than 14,900 new firms and re-operated ones were recorded each month.
