One more Covid-19 case reported in Da Nang, total rises to 418
VGP - The National Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control on Sunday morning confirmed one more Covid-19 case in Da Nang City, raising the country's patient tally to 418.
The latest patient, assigned number 418, is a 61-year old man living in Thanh Binh Ward, Hai Chau District.
This is the second confirmed case of Covid-19 in the central city over the past two days. Both of them are being treated at Da Nang Hospital.
As the health of patient 416 has got worse quickly, prompting doctors at the Da Nang Hospital to have use Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO) and filter his blood. Meanwhile, patient 418 needs ventilation support as he is in severe conditions.
Of the patient tally, 365 have been cleared of the virus, accounting for 87.3% and no fatality has been reported.
At present, 11,187 people are placed under medical surveillance, of whom 220 at hospitals, 10,193 at centralized quarantine camps, and 774 at places of residence./.
