One more frontline doctor contracts COVID-19, total rises to 141

Patient 135 is a 27-year old woman from Le Chan District of the northern port city of Hai Phong.

She was a passenger on flight PG947 from Copenhagen, Denmark to Viet Nam on March 19 after transiting in Doha and Bangkok.

Patient 136 is a 23-year old female student in Hoang Mai District, Ha Noi.

She landed in Ha Noi on March 16 from the US and isolated herself at home.

On March 21 she got fever and went to Hoang Mai District Medical Center for diagnosis the following.

She is being treated at the Central Hospital for Tropical Diseases in Ha Noi’s Dong Anh District.

Patieng 137 is a 36-year old man from Yen Thanh District, Nghe An province.

He returned to Viet Nam from Germany on March 15. Upon his arrival, he was taken to a centralized quarantine facility in Ha Noi for diagnosis.

Patient 138 is a 23-year old male student from Dong Da District, Ha Noi.

He was passenger on flight VN0054 from the UK to Noi Bai International Airport on March 21.

Upon his arrival, he was taken to a centralized quarantine facility in Ha Noi for diagnosis.

He is being treated at the Central Hospital for Tropical Diseases in Ha Noi’s Dong Anh District.

Patient 139 is a 24-year old female student from Hai Ba Trung District, Ha Noi. She is spouse of a previously announced COVID-19 patient.

After returning from the UK on March 21, she was taken to a centralized quarantine facility and had her sample tested for the virus.

The patient is being treated at the Central Hospital for Tropical Diseases in Ha Noi’s Dong Anh District.

Patient 140 is a 21-year old male student in Tay Ho District, Ha Noi. He landed in Noi Bai International Airport on March 21.

He is being treated at the Central Hospital for Tropical Diseases in Dong Anh District.

Patient 141 is a doctor, aged 29, working at the Emergency Department of the Central Hospital for Tropical Diseases in Dong Anh District.

He was said to have contracted the virus after installing ventilator for a COVID-19 patient.

Of the total infection cases confirmed so far, 125 patients have been reported since March 6, including 31 foreign nationals, two doctors and two nurses./.
