Over 6.3 million youngsters urged to promote role in COVID-19 fight

VGP – PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc has urged 6.3 million youngsters to declare their medical status and encourage surrounding people to do the same in an efforts to support the current COVID-19 combat.

The Government chief made the call on March 25 at a meeting with representatives of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Young Union.

PM Phuc took the occasion to call on the youth to uphold their pioneering roles to serve people and the country.

Earlier, two mobile apps on health declarations for Vietnamese nationals and foreigners debuted in order to contain the COVID-19 spread in the country.

Authorities have suggested all Vietnamese download NCOVI, register their mobile numbers and ID information and confirm their state of health.

Health authorities will collect such information to track down those to be monitored or quarantined to limit the spread of virus./.
