PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng noted that the strategic partnership between Việt Nam and India has been flourishing over the past time.

Especially, as the economic, commercial and investment relations are developing robustly, the goal to raise the two-way trade turnover to US$7 billion is within reach in coming years, he added.

The Government chief took the occasion to seek Indian support for Vietnamese products so as to gradually stabilize the trade balance between the two countries.

PM Dũng suggested the two sides collaborate to mark the 40th anniversary of diplomatic ties and 5th anniversary of strategic partnership.

Minister Anand Sharma proposed the two sides realize the reached agreements, seek new fields of cooperation and establish a committee to resolve obstacles, particularly in the areas of energy, IT and pharmacy./.
