Speaking at the online national conference to popularize the Resolution adopted at the 13th National Party Congress on Sunday, PM Phuc called for stimulating the aspiration and determination of each and every individual for national development.

All resources should be mobilized to ensure rapid and sustainable development together with accelerating innovation and digital transformation, Phuc said.

Especially, the Government chief reaffirmed that institutions remain the most decisive factor for national development, stressing that each law should have two guiding documents to the maximum to make it easier for citizens and businesses to learn and apply.

Viet Nam targets 6.5-7% annual GDP growth over the next five years and expects to move out of the low middle-income status by the end of 2025.

The country also mapped out the path to become upper-middle income nation and gain developed and high-income status by 2045.

These are the key time milestones as the country will mark 50th anniversary of liberation of the South and national reunification in 2025, 100th founding anniversary of the Communist Party of Viet Nam in 2030, and the 100th founding anniversary of the Democratic Republic of Viet Nam now the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam in 2045.

These are the big goals that require high hope and aspirations of the whole nation in order to quickly narrow development gap with countries in the region and the world, said PM Phuc./.
