PM appreciates Sri Lanka’s support

VGP – PM Nguyen Tan Dung on Tuesday thanked Sri Lanka for recognizing Viet Nam’s market economy status, during his reception for visiting Minister of Justice Rauff Hakeem.

Sri Lanka also backs Viet Nam’s bid for UN Human Rights Council for the 2014-2016 tenure.

PM Dung expressed his hope that both countries will continue supporting each other at multi-lateral forums, especially the United Nations and non-aligned movement and expanding economic, trade, investment, education, culture relations.

The Government chief also praised the outcomes of the talks held earlier between Rauff Hakeem and Vietnamese counterpart Ha Hung Cuong.

Rauff Hakeem said his country expects to enhance justice cooperation with Viet Nam, particularly in experience sharing, law building, legal assistance, and enforcement of international laws, including sea-related ones./.
