PM chairs conference with localities
VGP – A video-teleconference between the Government chief and localities opened on December 30, in Ha Noi, two days before 2019, the year of “breakthrough”, ends.

The annual event aims to sum up the operations of the Government and localities over the past year and figure out key tasks and solutions to fulfill the National Assembly’s preset goals.
Over the past years, the event was honored to welcome the Party General Secretary and State President to attend and give directions.
Under the motto “Disciplines, uprightness, action, creativity, breakthrough and effectiveness,” 2019 is a challenging year for the Government to attain higher achievements in 2018.
So far, according to updated data, 2019 is regarded as ‘breakthrough’ year. GDP growth rate is expected to hit 7.02%, outstripping the preset goal of 6.8%. Inflation is kept at 2.79%, the lowest level over the past three years. Export turnover valued US$ 517 billion, the record high. Trade surplus hit over US$ 9.9 billion, marking the fourth consecutive year performance. The amount of FDI disbursement reached over US$ 20 billion, the unprecedented level. The number of newly-established enterprises reached a record high of over 138,000. Over 18 million foreign tourists arrived in Viet Nam.
The event will take place in one and a half day and apply e-Cabinet./.
