The UK is now one of Việt Nam’s biggest trade and investment partners. PM Dũng pledged to create more favorable conditions for British investors to do business in Việt Nam.

For his part, Mr. Alan Duncan noted the effective implementation of joint projects in Việt Nam.

Besides economic cooperation, the UK would continue to expand its assistance to Việt Nam to climate change adaptation, sea level rise, and HIV/AIDS prevention, he said.

He also revealed that the Department for International Development will work with some Vietnamese relevant ministries and agencies to discuss new cooperative areas for the coming years.
