PM hails young businesses’ role

The PM made this comment at his new year meeting with members of the Việt Nam Young Entrepreneurs Association (VYEA) on February 11.
VYEA, with 9,000 members, currently provides 1.5 million jobs for local laborers and achieves the annual turnover of around US $25 billion.
A part from business operations, the young entrepreneurs have engaged in various social activities in every corner of the country, PM Dũng said, adding that they are typical models representing the young generation in the course of global integration.
Despite numerous difficulties arising from the global financial crisis and economic downturn, Việt Nam has made outstanding achievements in all aspects during the past years by combining economic development policies with social welfare ones, noted the Government chief.
He stressed that the Government will continue prioritizing sustainable development, and that economic development will go side by side with poverty reduction, social equality, environment protection, and social welfare guarantee.
PM Dũng hopes that the young business community will be fully aware of their responsibilities to the nation, so that more young businesses and strong trademarks will appear in the future.
The Government will create favorable conditions for the young businesses to growth in quantity, quality, and efficiency, the PM stated.
Besides, he also asked the businesses to pay due attention to their employees, strictly follow legal regulations, and have more responsibility towards the vulnerable groups and regions suffered from natural calamities and epidemics.
