PM highlights significance of second Trump-Kim Summit
VGP – PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc welcomed President Donald Trump to Viet Nam and emphasized the significant importance of the second DPRK-USA Summit during the pair’s meeting at the Government Office on Wednesday.

President Trump was glad to visit Viet Nam and meet with PM Phuc again, extending thanks for Viet Nam’s considerate support for the summit in a short period of time.
Both sides were pleased with the advancements of the bilateral ties, especially the two-way trade valued reached more than US$60 billion, in which the US exports to Viet Nam rose 46%.
The two countries agreed to continue deployment of the existing cooperation mechanisms and continue exchanges on the possibility of lifting the bilateral trade and investment cooperation in accordance with the characteristics of their comprehensive partnership.
