PM meets leaders from world’s top corporations on sidelines of VBS
VGP – PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc on November 7 hosted receptions for leaders from the world’s leading corporations in the central city of Da Nang on the sidelines of the Viet Nam Business Summit.

He hoped that the NCAPEC will boost the two sides’ relationship through promoting economic and investment cooperation, technology transfer and organization of trade and investment promotion activities between their enterprises.
Viet Nam is making efforts in improving the business and investment environment, confirmed the PM, committing to facilitating foreign investors' operations in Viet Nam, including those from the U.S.
The nation is undertaking the equitisation of State-owned enterprises operating in such areas as aviation, finance and banking, said the PM, suggesting it as an opportunity for the U.S. businesses.
Leaders from the U.S. businesses highly appraised Viet Nam’s business environment and expressed their desires to launch long-term operation in Viet Nam as well as played a bridging role in attracting more U.S enterprises to pour investment in Viet Nam, said Ms. Monica Whaley.
They valued Viet Nam’s policy-making process to take advantage of the fourth industrial revolution , she added.

He proposed the CCPIT actively cooperate with the Vietnamese relevant ministries and agencies to organize more activities to promote Viet Nam-China relations, encouraging Chinese enterprises to import more Vietnamese agricultural-aquatic-forestry products and invest in high-tech projects in Viet Nam in such areas as infrastructure and transport.
Mr. Chen Zhou pledged to enhance imports of Vietnamese goods and products to balance the two sides’ trade relations.
Hailing Viet Nam’s business environment, the Chinese businesses announced to select Viet Nam as a destination for expanding investment and seeking further business opportunities.

Mr.Nordenstahi said Abbott’s subordinate companies are keen on expanding operations in Viet Nam and committed to assisting the country in building an open and friendly business environment via policy-making consultation.

Mr. Mallon praised Viet Nam for its successes in attracting more and more foreign investors and wished to do long-term business in the country.

Mr. Moritz confirmed that the PwC will assist Viet Nam in improving its business climate so that the country could become more attractive to foreign investors, he said.
