PM Phuc expressed his pleasure at the cooperation between Boeing and Vietnamese airlines.

PM Phuc revealed his recent successful meeting with U.S. President Donald Trump who expressed his impression on the signing of the US$ 21 billion deal between Vietnamese airlines and Boeing.
There are wide doors for the two sides not only in plane procurement but also airline accessory manufacturing, he said. He also underlined the necessity to develop the pilot contingents in favor of national aviation sector development.

In reply, Mr. Kevin McAllister said that the group has already had an airline accessory manufactory factory in Viet Nam and is seeking opportunities to broaden the filed in the country. He also expressed the aspiration to shake hands with Vietnamese carriers.

The guest leader committed to supporting Viet Nam in the coming time, hoping that the two countries would launch their direct air route.

The CEO stressed that Boeing wants to become a partner in technology, maintenance, and aviation infrastructure management.

He congratulated Viet Nam on recently getting Category rating 1 status (CAT 1) from the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) that will allow Vietnamese carriers to conquer US destinations./.
