PM receives French Chief of Defense Staff Admiral
VGP – PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng highly valued the bilateral relations between the two defense ministries and armies of Việt Nam and France.

The Government chief made the remark during his meeting with French Chief of Defense, Staff Admiral Edouard Guillaud in Hà Nội on February 23.
Highly valuing the fine developments in the Việt Nam-France relationship across all fields, PM Dũng is delighted the two sides are heading towards 40 years of diplomatic ties, bringing their relationship to a new height.
Admiral Guillaud expressed his wish to consolidate the partnership between the two armies.
Regarding the East Sea, Admiral Guillaud affirmed backing Việt Nam’s stance of settling disputes via peaceful talks in accordance with international laws and supported free maritime transport on the East Sea.
